Our certified network engineers received a service request for WiFi network installation in Phoenix, AZ with the following information:
🔹Location: Phoenix, AZ
🔹Property Type: RV-Trailer Park
🔹WiFi Coverage: Outdoor and Indoor, Zone 1 RV Slots, Office mobile home, laundromat
🔹Current ISP: Comcast Business (Xfinity)
🔹Mount Solution: Galvanized Poles
A successful wireless WiFi network installation for an RV or trailer park begins with a technical site survey. During the survey, our certified network engineers evaluate the entire property, including RV sites, trailer pads, office, laundry facilities, recreation areas and other common spaces where guests and staff need reliable connectivity. They assess existing network infrastructure and inspect potential mounting locations for outdoor access points, antennas, switches, and wireless bridges.
The survey also includes an RF (radio frequency) assessment to identify nearby WiFi networks, channel congestion, signal strength and sources of interference that could affect wireless network performance. Engineers measure distances between access point locations, evaluate line of sight, account for obstacles such as trees, buildings and metal RVs that can block signals.

They also identify the availability of power sources, determine the most efficient cable routing paths, and select the optimal locations for the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs). The information gathered during the site survey is then used to develop a customized wireless network design that delivers reliable indoor and outdoor WiFi coverage throughout the property.
Following the site survey and RF analysis, our certified network engineers developed a custom wireless network design that delivers reliable WiFi coverage across the priority Zone 1 RV sites, the office/mobile home, and the laundromat, while allowing for future expansion.

The predictive WiFi heat map was performed to determine the optimal placement of each access point, minimizing dead zones while delivering consistent signal strength across the priority coverage area. This approach also helps optimize channel planning, roaming performance, and network capacity for guests and staff.

After reviewing the proposed network design, the customer approved the installation plan to proceed. Once approved, the required network equipment and installation materials were procured, and the installation schedule was coordinated with our certified wireless network installers in Phoenix, AZ.
As illustrated in the network design diagram, the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) is setup in the office. The MDF serves as the central network hub, housing the router, gateway, PoE switch and UPS.

From this location, the network is distributed wirelessly using Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-Multi-Point (PtMP) wireless local area network (WLAN) links to strategically placed Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs) throughout the RV park. Each remote IDF supports outdoor and indoor WiFi access points that provide wireless coverage across priority RV sites, laundromat and office/mobile home.

All network equipment, including wireless bridges, indoor and outdoor access points, PoE injectors, switches, and UPS units, were securely mounted and installed according to the approved network design. By integrating Point-to-Point (PtP), Point-to-Multi-Point (PtMP) and wireless mesh technologies, the solution delivers a scalable and cost-effective wireless infrastructure that provides reliable connectivity while supporting future expansion as the RV park grows.
After the network hardware installations and made it live and running, the network engineers run mobile WiFi analyzer to visualize the airwaves around the RV Trailer Park, mapping out signal strength, channel distribution and network congestion. This analysis shows any co-channel interferences, dead zones

Our team performed several speed test at the following points.
🔹Unifi Gateway Comcast
🔹MDF
🔹Slave 1 to 4 Bridges and Access Points

These speed test results confirm the expanded WiFi coverage achieved through the deployment of Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-Multi-Point (PtMP) wireless local area networks (WLANs), providing reliable connectivity to the RV Slot Zone 1, office/mobile home and laundromat. Following successful testing and validation, the completed network is documented, and ongoing monitoring and technical support are provided.
