A service request was received for a Starlink installation in Surprise, AZ. Our team provided a professional service by performing the following procedures:
Our Starlink installation SMEs conducted an Initial Offsite Assessment to determine the structural property of the home. This involves analyzing satellite imagery, requesting onsite photos and evaluating the roof type and potential obstructions. This critical evaluation allowed us to determine the necessary materials, equipment, mounting solution and manpower to ensure a hassle-free Starlink installation.
After the initial offsite assessment, an installation plan is developed and submitted to the customer for approval. Once approved and the equipment are delivered onsite, the installation schedule is coordinated with our Starlink installers in Surprise AZ.
Our Starlink installation team arrived onsite to perform the following scope of work:

To begin the installation, our team conducted a Starlink Obstructions Test at the location identified during the initial offsite assessment. This crucial first step ensures the site qualifies for a “Good Experience” rating by verifying clear satellite visibility.
The Starlink dish is securely installed using an adjustable wall mount to the exterior wall of the roof, carefully positioned to achieve a clear, unobstructed view of the sky for optimal satellite reception.
The proprietary Starlink cable was carefully routed from the rooftop dish to the interior of the home using a clean and secure cable pathway. As shown in the photo below, our installers used a cable routing kit with UV-resistant clamps to fasten the cable neatly along the stucco wall. The cable was guided down the vertical surface with precision and anchored firmly to prevent sagging or movement. It was then fed through a properly sealed wall entry point using a weatherproof grommet to protect against moisture and debris.
Using the Starlink App, we configured the customer’s preferred network name (SSID) and secure password to personalize their WiFi setup. This process involved accessing the Starlink router settings, entering a unique and easily recognizable network name, and setting a strong password for secure access. We then verified the changes by reconnecting devices to the new network and testing signal strength throughout the home.
Once the installation of the Starlink equipment is complete, a Starlink alignment test to is done to verify that the dish was correctly positioned for clear line of sight satellite connectivity.
Then, checked the Starlink internet performance by running the Starlink speed test. The initial results has a download speed of 226 Mbps, an upload speed of 32 Mbps and a latency of 20 milliseconds.
This is excellent Starlink performance can handle multiple devices streaming HD/4K content, video conferencing, and gaming simultaneously without issues. While Starlink establishes basic internet connectivity within 5-30 minutes, achieving optimal internet speed is a much longer process that can extend 12-24 hours after installation.
