Our certified network engineers received a service request for Starlink and wireless network installation in Renton, WA. To process the service request, the following steps were carried out:
An initial offsite assessment was carried out as the service request is received. Using satellite imagery and onsite photos provided by the customer, our team able to assess the property's structure, identify nearby obstructions, installation points, suitable mounting hardware and plan the best cable route. This process also helps to identify the needed materials, equipments and tools for an efficient onsite installation.
After the assessment, an installation plan was sent over to the customer for review and approval. Once approved, the installation schedule was coordinated with our Starlink installers in Renton, WA.
The Starlink installers arrived onsite as scheduled and kick-off the installation process by performing the Starlink obstructions test. The chosen location was verified to have a 'Good Experience' rating in various online activities.

The cable was plugged into the router. The router was turned on, activated and configured for user's SSID and password. We provided the customer with Starlink app walkthrough on how to manage the Starlink system.
With the Starlink system installation completed, a final Starlink alignment test was performed. This is to verify that dish was positioned to the clear line of sight to the satellite network.
To verify the Starlink system performance, a Starlink speed test was conducted. The speed test measures the download speed, upload speed and latency.
It is important to note that it takes upto 12 hours to achieve optimal speeds.
