Our certified network engineers received a service request for Starlink installation in Randleman, NC. Our team provided the professional assistance by conducting the following:
An initial offsite assessment was carried out by analzing the satellite map view of the business site and the customer-provided photos of the property. This allowed us to determine the customer requirements and proposed solution for the installation such as installation points, cable routing path, mounting options and the materials, equipment and tools needed for efficient and optimal Starlink installation.
After the assessment, our team developed the installation plan for customer review and approval. Once approved and the equipments are delivered onsite, the installation schedule is coordinated with Starlink Installers in Randleman, NC.
At the scheduled time, our professional Starlink installers arrived onsite as scheduled and performed multiple obstruction tests to identify the best location for installing the Starlink dish.

The Starlink dish was installed using a custom non-penetrating roof mount, secured with concrete ballast blocks to ensure stability in high-wind conditions. A pipe adapter was used to elevate the dish, providing optimal line-of-sight for satellite connectivity.

The installer neatly routed the 45-meter Starlink cable from the rooftop down the exterior wall, securing it with cable clamps for stability. It was then pass through the building wall to the designated indoor location, where it connects to power supply and a third-party router for network distribution.
The Starlink is integrated to the existing network as back up internet connection.

After the equipment installation, a Starlink alignment test was performed to ensure the dish is properly aligned to the satellite network. The dish must have an unobstructed view (especially to the north in the northern hemisphere or south in the southern hemisphere) to maintain strong, uninterrupted connectivity. In setups with a non-penetrating roof mount, there may be surrounding units (like HVACs or walls) that affect signal. The alignment test ensures that the dish is in the best unobstructed view.

Then, the Starlink Speed Test to evaluate the connection’s performance. The test provides key metrics like download speed, upload speed, and latency. It’s important to note that Starlink can take up to 12 hours to synchronize with the satellite network fully.
