Our certified network engineers received a service request for Starlink installation for an industrial property in Des Moines, IA. To process the service request, the following steps were carried out: 

1. Pre-Installation Assessment and Planning

An initial offsite assessment was conducted to evaluate the property’s structure and site conditions. Using the satellite view, onsite photos and data gathering, our team able to determine potential installation location, mounting hardware, cable routing plan and installation materials needed for hassle-free installation.

The Starlink was was then integrated to the SD-WAN equipment or existing network.

Following the Starlink equipment installation, a Starlink alignment test was conducted to fine-tune the positioning of the dish towards the satellite network. This test is critical for maintaining strong and uinterrupted signal.  Then, the Starlink speed tests were done after installation to verify the Starlink internet connectivity and performance.
