To kick off the installation, a Starlink Obstructions Test was performed using the Starlink App. This crucial step helped determine the optimal placement for the dish, ensuring a strong and reliable connection to the Starlink satellite network. The test show a “Good Experience” rating, confirming that the selected location is well-suited for smooth streaming, browsing, video calls, and gaming.
The Starlink Standard dish was securely mounted using a Pivot Mount, providing precise positioning, stable support, and optimal signal reception.
Using a cable routing kit, the Starlink cable was neatly routed and passed through the wall with a created a wall entry point hole. It is neatly covered with grommet and weather-resistant sealant. Once inside, the Starlink cable is plugged into the Gen 3 router. The router is powered to boot-up, then activated and configured the WiFi settings.
