An initial offsite assessment was performed through the use of satellite imagery and requested onsite photos from the customer. This primary step allows our team to evaluate the property's structure, identify potential signal obstructions, installation points, suitable mounting hardware and plan the best cable route. In addition, the needed materials, tools and equipments were identified for an efficient onsite installation.
After the assessment, an installation plan was developed and sent over to the customer for the approval. We received the customer’s approval and coordinated the installation schedule with our Starlink installers in Auburn, CA.
Our certified Starlink installers arrived onsite as scheduled to perform the following scope of work:

🔹Routing the cable from the dish to a designated location of Gen3 WiFi mesh router inside the home.

🔹Post-installation optimization and performance testing
The installation started with a Starlink obstructions test. The chosen location was verified with a 'Good Experience' rating in various online activities as shown in the image below.
The Starlink Standard dish was securely mounted to the wall under the roof using a standard wall mount. The placement was carefully selected to ensure structural stability, proper cable routing and a clear line of sight to the satellite network.
Following the dish installation, our team routed the Starlink cable along the home’s exterior eaves, creating a clean and discreet pathway. The cable was secured with weather-resistant wall clips at regular intervals, maintaining a neat cable management.
When the cable reached the indoor, it was then connected to the Gen3 router. The router was turned on, activated and configured for user's SSID and password. The customer was given a walkthrough on how to manage the Starlink system using Starlink app.
With the Starlink system installation completed, a final Starlink alignment test was performed. This is to verify that dish was precisely positioned to a clear line of sight to the satellite network for high-speed and uninterrupted and connectivity.
To verify the Starlink system performance, a Starlink speed test was conducted. The results confirmed excellent satellite internet connectivity, with a download speed of 432 Mbps, an upload speed of 32 Mbps and 23 ms of latency. This excellent speed test result is more than capable of supporting demanding online activities such as 4K video streaming, large file downloads, video conferencing and multiple users simultaneously.
