This step is essential for the SMEs to identify the best possible installation point, proper mounting hardware to be used, cable routing path and any obstructions that could impact Starlink installation. It also allows the team to determine the necessary materials, equipment and tools to facilitate a hasle-free onsite installation.

After the assessment, the SMEs sent the detailed proposed solution for customer's approval. Once approved, we coordinated installation schedule with our expert Starlink installers in Scottsdale, AZ.
ProSat Networks reviewed the work order with our lead installer, then dispatched our Starlink installers in Scottsdale, AZ for the onsite portion of the service call. The Starlink App Obstructions Test confirmed that the chosen installation location has a "good experience" for streaming, web browsing, video calls and online gaming, meaning this is an optimal areas for the dish install..

Then, the team securely mounted the Starlink dish using an under-eave mount, a durable and discreet installation method that provided stable positioning while protecting the hardware from direct exposure to harsh weather conditions. Next, the team routed the Starlink cable from the existing cable path and was sealed with a grommet and weatherproof sealant to prevent water ingress. The cable was then routed to the designated indoor location of the Gen 2 WiFi mesh router and connected to it.

The team then activated the Starlink system, configured the user’s SSID and password. The second Gen3 WiFi mesh router were placed on the office room to extend the WiFi signal coverage throughout the home.

After the router setup, we provided the customer a walkthrough on how to use the Starlink App.
After completing the Starlink installation, they conducted an Starlink alignment test to assess signal strength and confirm precise dish positioning. This essential step ensures a clear line of sight to the satellite network.

Then, the Starlink speed test was done twenty minutes after installation to verify the Starlink internet performance through the metrics of download speed, upload speed and latency. It is important to note that it takes upto 12 hours to achieve optimal speeds.

🔹 Download Speed (204 Mbps) - This is an very good result for residential Starlink service. It’s more than enough for bandwidth-heavy activities such as HD/4K video streaming, large file downloads, video conferencing and multi-device usage.
🔹 Upload Speed (25 Mbps) - This is also strong performance, suitable for video calls, cloud backups, online gaming and remote work applications.
🔹 Latency (27 ms) - A latency under 30 ms indicates low network delay, resulting in smooth real-time activities like Zoom meetings, VoIP calls and online gaming.
