Starlink for RV Parks by ProSat Networks 1-844-799-0258. Our Starlink installers and WiFi network engineers are experts in best-in-class WLAN (wireless local area network) design, installation, configuration & support for RV parks, RV resorts, campgrounds, farms, ranches, estates, marinas and more.
In July 2025, ProSat Networks completed a connectivity project in Louisiana. The project includes a Starlink satellite installation for an RV park. An outdoor and indoor broadband Wi-Fi network to supports high-speed internet across a 30-site RV park.

ProSat Networks upgraded the RV park’s internet from slow and unreliable to high-speed broadband WiFi. The project was completed in just a few days with proper assessment and planning. Guests and residents can now access WiFi using secure credentials. They can make video calls, stream TV, place phone calls and browse online without interruption. The network supports online gaming, remote work, study, and entertainment. High-speed Starlink internet is available wirelessly across the park and inside RVs and motorhomes. Users can rely on stable, secure and consistent connectivity throughout the property.

In early July 2025, ProSat Networks’ Starlink and IT network installers arrived at an RV park in southern Louisiana. The site had little to no internet connectivity at the time. Access was limited to cellular phones and personal hotspots. Cell signal availability varied across the property. Some users had little and limited coverage, while others had none.
Our goal was to transform the park from weak or non-existent WiFi into reliable, high-speed connectivity.
We designed a secure and strong wireless network covering indoor and outdoor areas.
Starlink was deployed as the park’s sole internet service provider. The solution uses long-range wireless access points configured in a mesh network. This design delivers full coverage across the RV park.
The signal penetrates most RVs and motorhomes without requiring indoor Wi-Fi extenders.
ProSat Networks’ IT engineers designed a network to provide high-speed Starlink internet throughout the RV park. The project includes network planning, equipment selection and transportation to the site. Our team installed the Starlink Performance Gen3. They configured and aligned the Starlink dish. Our team dug a small trench for 8-ft cable run in PVC conduit. They installed the Cat6, Starlink and electrical cabling were with proper cable management. They set up the main distribution frame (MDF) onsite. Starlink was activated and the Gen3 router was configured. A Wi-Fi mesh network was created, unifying access points and extenders as needed. The system ensures reliable internet for all guests and staff across the property.
An initial offsite assessment was carried out to evaluate the technical feasibility of the Starlink installation at the RV park. First, they analysed satellite imagery of the property. Then, they gathered detailed information about the park’s connectivity requirements. This preliminary evaluation helped determine the optimal placement and design for reliable, high-speed Starlink internet.
Here’s the result of the initial offsite assessment:
To further assess the property, an onsite-site survey visit was performed to:
With the site survey completed and the proposal approved by the client, we proceeded with the scheduling of the installation.
Crude Initial Markup of the Network

Our professional Starlink installers that cover Cameron, LA arrived onsite as scheduled. They took inventory of the equipment and materials needed for the installation.

Our team installed the MDF to the designated parking slot. The RV was in close proximity to the primary Starlink installation point with its climate-controlled interior and existing shelves. This trailer now functions as the central hub for managing the RV park’s internet infrastructure.

The MDF setup includes a Starlink Gen3 router and a PoE switch to power and connect all wireless access points. Ou team installed a UPS with built-in surge protection to ensure uninterrupted operation and safeguard the equipment. This configuration provides a stable, reliable core network, efficiently distributing Starlink internet across the entire RV park.
Our team routed a two low-voltage data cables from the MDF to the primary outdoor pole:

They used metal poles to reach an approximate height of 15 feet for the WAPs, clearing RV rooftops. With additional extension for the Starlink Performance Gen3 dish on the primary pole. The poles were attached to wooden utility posts near electrical outlets using heavy-duty zip ties and metal brackets with concrete bases as necessary.
The primary WAP was installed at 20-foot pole adjacent to the RV where the MDF was setup. Mounted securely to an existing wooden post near the electrical outlet. This pole will support:

The five (5) additional WAPs were strategically positioned around the park to ensure seamless WiFi coverage across the entire RV park.

A total of six (6) pole-mounted WAP installations were deployed throughout the park.
Following the Starlink and Mesh WiFi system installation, the team performed the Starlink alignment test. It is crucial to ensure that the satellite dish (Dishy) is positioned correctly to achieve optimal signal strength and stability. Starlink operates via a constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and the dish must have a clear line of sight to the sky. Specifically, toward north in most locations to communicate effectively with the satellite network.

The team conducted several Starlink speed tests to measure the actual internet performance.

They used Speedtest.net and Starlink app to verify the connectivity performance in mobile and laptop devices. With excellent download speed (306 to 380 Mbps), upload speed (31.11 to 40 Mbps) and latency (25 to 33 ms), the Starlink internet can handle high-demand activities like video conferencing, OEM support, or large data uploads.
The Starlink installation at the RV Park in Cameron, LA, was successfully executed and delivered outstanding results. The Starlink Performance dish and wireless access points (WAPs) were securely and strategically mounted on a 20-foot pole. The MDF (Main Distribution Frame) was setup inside a climate-controlled trailer, housed the Gen3 router, a PoE switch, and a UPS to ensure network stability and power protection.
Following installation, performance testing using the Starlink app and Speedtest.net confirmed the system’s reliability and high throughput. The Starlink app recorded speeds of 380 Mbps download, 40 Mbps upload, with a 25 ms latency, while the laptop-based test showed 306.12 Mbps down and 31.11 Mbps up, demonstrating robust connectivity across devices. The mesh WiFi system provided seamless coverage throughout the RV park, delivering a high-speed internet experience suitable for streaming, work-from-anywhere needs, and daily guest use. The project was completed efficiently and met all client expectations, providing a scalable, future-ready internet solution for the entire park.
Most of the folks living here are hard working oil & gas related workers, and we tip our hat to how hard they work! We hope that the high-speed internet will help comfort your down times at the RV park allowing you to make video calls to speak with loved ones more easily and enjoy your favorite TV shows and movies with uninterrupted video streaming!
